Lemel Studevent and her daughter Cynthia carry the flags for the Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery.  Lemel and Cynthia have done this faithfully for over 20 years. Cynthia is an honorary member of the GSW Potomac Chapter.

Gold Star Wives Volunteers

Ella Delisio, Marianne Nugent and Eva Golleher, members of the GSW Potomac Chapter, visiting Mologne House.  Members of the Washington Wizards are standing behind them. Mologne House is where the Wounded Warriors from Walter Reed stay with their families while they are treated at Walter Reed.  Potomac Chapter members visit Mologne House and take supplies to the residents on a regular basis.

Children attending Snowball Express Snowball Express is a Christmastime trip for the children of Fallen Soldiers. Members of GSW volunteer to assist with Snowball Express each year.

Ella Delisio and Marianne Nugent, Potomac Chapter members, with residents of the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, DC.  Members of the Potomac Chapter visit the AFRH regularly and take gifts to the residents.
