The Membership/Outreach Chair is to assist Prime Management in reminding GSW members to renew their membership. Prime Management sends out two renewal statements to members, but if the GSW member does not renew after the second statement, Prime Management will send the Membership/Outreach Chair the non-renewal list per month with the GSW name; address; phone number; birth date and email address.
The Membership/Outreach Chair will either write a personal letter on yellow paper or compose a personal letter on GSW letterhead using yellow paper and send the letter by USPS to the GSW member and encourage renewal of membership. The letterhead will have the name; address; phone number and email address of the Membership/Outreach Chair. The letter will also contain the ages; amounts; Prime Management address and phone number for credit card renewals or for other questions. Lifetime membership is encouraged. If the letter is returned, the Membership/Outreach Chair can either email and attach a copy of the letter and call the member to keep her membership. The Membership/Outreach Chair is responsible for notifying Prime Management on a monthly basis changes of addresses; death notification and returned ‘unable to deliver’ letters.
The Membership/Outreach Chair is required to send an annual report to the Board Chair and to the Convention Coordinator. The Membership/Outreach Chair is required to attend all Convention Board meetings and participate in all Board Conference calls.
