SOUTH CENTRAL (AR, KS, LA, MO, OK, TX)
The South Central region currently has 5 chapters
The South Central region currently has 5 chapters and a large roster of members at large. Our region includes some of the fastest growing communities in the United States. As these area change, so does our approach to supporting, empowering and advocating for military widows and widowers in our corner of the world.

While the South Central region only has one official meeting per year (at regional conference in March or April), our members carry the torch for GSW wherever they go. We actively work to educate survivors about their benefits, talk to legislators about the needs of survivors, and donate thousands of volunteer hours every year to give back a portion of the blessings we have been given.
Many of our Region officers and members serve on various national committees and positions within GSW, including the Government Relations committee, IT committee, Board of Directors Education Chair, and National Historian. We are privileged to have several past national presidents within our membership who are an invaluable resource in guiding our efforts. The Region President also has a vote on the board.
