Pearl Harbor Day at the National Museum of the Pacific War

Join us as we come together at the National Museum of the Pacific War for our annual Pearl Harbor Commemoration on Thursday, December 7th beginning at 10 am. The event honors the thousands killed or injured during the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. Members of the public are invited to gather at the Pearl Harbor Wall of the Memorial Courtyard before the event moves into the Admiral Nimitz Ballroom.

Event Details:

  • Date: Thursday, December 7th
  • Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (Presentations repeated at 11 am)

The commemoration will begin with a wreath laying followed by a tribute to World War II Veteran William Dillion who served as a Radioman First Class on the submarine USS Sailfish, followed by an overview of the events of the Pearl Harbor attack by Dr. Katie Custer-Bojakowski of Texas A&M and a book signing by author Stephen L. Moore. The presentation and signing will repeat at 11 am before the event concludes at 12 pm.
