GSW Education Chair

Renee Monczynski

As Education chair, Renee is responsible for assembling all current information available on scholarships loans and Veterans Administration Education benefits from government agencies, state agencies and private sector sources.
Members should keep the chair informed of any knowledge they may have regarding scholarships from military units offering scholarships to surviving spouses or children of servicemembers who serviced in the unit, Officers, and NCO Wives scholarships at local installations, and local state colleges and junior colleges.
The Chair periodically contacts and maintains a current list of agencies offering educational assistance and where possible, requests to be placed on their mailing list. New scholarship information is to be written up as a National Newsletter article and submitted by the chair to the newsletter coordinator to keep members well informed.

The Education Chair will reply promptly to all questions regarding education benefits received  or referred to the director by other officers or members.  An informational report is filed annually to the National Convention.
